Well guys... me and Cameron, we had this idea... how about diversying our activities, now that we are intensively exercising our livers during the long nights of Prague, as well as our legs in the Saturdays hiking sessions, and the chating capabilities (all the time)? Yeaps. Why not offer some exercise to our brains? And so.. how about a reading group?

After this first moment, we created a few guidelines, some currently under discussion:

  1. Accordingly to the sources I consulted, a maximum of 12 persons in recomended, so, only 12 persons will be allowed in this reading group. If for some reason we feel the need, we may create a second group.

  2. As we are living in Czech Republic, we thought that we should stick to czech authors or books somehow related with the country.

  3. We are still concluding the process to find a suitable places for the meetings (Wenceslas square area), but we are close.

  4. Meeting will occur experimentaly in a weekly basis. Adjustements may and probably will be done. Note that we are not discussing a new book every meeting, but parts of it (chapters).

  5. Probably we will choose a business day, perhaps by 6PM.

  6. For each meeting members will prepare a set of questions (lets say, 3-4) about the readen chapters.

  7. When possible, after the reading of the whole book is completed we will watch together a movie based on the book. And, of course, discuss diferences and similaraties.

  8. People are free to choose language and edition of the selected book.
